Nick Pellisante, policier fédéral (FBI), a réussi l'impossible: arrêter Dominic Cavello, le parrain new-yorkais, hyper dangereux. Ce dernier est enfin derrière les barreaux, prêt à être jugé pour ses crimes. Commence alors le procès du mafieux, sous très haute surveillance, ce qui n'empêche pas le drame. Le bus transportant les membres du jury explose, et le procès est ajourné. À bord du bus, il y avait Annie DeGrasse, une jeune actrice, et son fils. Elle seule en sort indemne. Et comme une mauvaise nouvelle ne vient jamais seule, Cavello met à profit ce répit pour s'évader dans un nouveau bain de sang. Débute alors une chasse à l'homme pour laquelle Pellisante reçoit l'aide inattendue d'Annie. Elle a juré de se venger. Un thriller rapide, efficace et bien ficelé. [SDM] |
