Homeschooled by his grandmother for the last eleven years, sixteen-year-old Sebastian has missed out on what it means to be a normal teen. When his grandmother has a stroke, Sebastian is finally given the chance to explore life on his own and meets Jared and Meredith, two teens who help him in his quest. Sebastian's grandmother recovers and asks him to return home, however, forcing him to make a difficult choice.
